Summary

How can we ensure that urban climate science reaches the people who can act on it? This interactive roundtable will explore how the findings of the IPCC Special Report on Climate Change and Cities (SRCities) can be communicated in ways that support action on housing, infrastructure, resilience, finance, and implementation. Bringing together communicators, researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and other stakeholders, the session will focus on identifying effective products, formats, and engagement approaches for different audiences. Through a facilitated discussion, participants will contribute practical ideas and recommendations to help strengthen the accessibility, relevance, and impact of urban climate knowledge.
