Summary

Costa Rica is currently leading the development of a climate adaptation code for the construction sector to strengthen resilience to climate-related hazards and future climate impacts. This session will present the development process, technical foundations, stakeholder engagement approach, and supporting tools being used to shape the initiative. Participants will learn how this effort aims to reduce vulnerabilities, protect investments, and contribute to more resilient communities and infrastructure.
