Download the Expression of Interest Form HERE
From 22 June, cities and GCoM signatories are welcome to apply for membership of the City-Business Climate Alliance (CBCA) network. This global partnership between C40 Cities and the Global Covenant of Mayors (GCoM) provides a unique platform for city governments to share ideas on how to influence and engage with local businesses to accelerate climate action and grow the green economy.
Why Join the CBCA Network?
Members get direct access to a global cohort of over 30 cities dedicated to city-business collaboration. Key benefits include:
- Expert Support: Direct advice and twice-yearly 1:1 consultation meetings with the CBCA team.
- Peer Learning: Participation in quarterly meetings and webinars to exchange best practices on topics like green jobs, cleantech ecosystems, and supporting SMEs.
- Resource Access: Use of specialised tools and the opportunity to co-author a new online learning Toolkit.
- Global Showcase: Invitations to showcase your local climate achievements at international events, including an in-person workshop in Q4 2026.
Membership of the City-Business Climate Alliance (CBCA) network is free of charge.
Who Should Represent Your City?
We welcome 1–2 staff members from climate or economic development teams to join the forum. If your city already has an active independent business climate network, its leaders are also encouraged to participate. Participation typically requires a commitment of approximately two hours per month.
