THE ROLE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN ENHANCING GREEN CREATIVITY FOR CLIMATE RESILIENCE IN NIGERIA

Green creativity plays a pivotal role in enhancing climate resilience in Nigeria by driving green innovation, fostering green entrepreneurship, and promoting climate change education. It enables the development of green technologies and practices—such as eco-fashion, eco-musicology, eco-poetry, renewable energy adoption, and sustainable agriculture—that reduce environmental degradation while boosting economic opportunities for institutions and communities. Through systematic literature review and participant observation, this study identifies the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing green creativity for climate resilience in Nigeria. It further highlights that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly emerging as a critical tool for driving green creativity and green innovation in Nigeria, particularly in agriculture, energy, entertainment and environmental monitoring. This study recommends awareness creation, green financing and enabling policies by the Nigerian government towards promoting AI literacy and green creativity in Nigeria. It concludes with clarion call for scholars to delve deeper research towards maximizing the potentials of AI and green creativity in Nigeria
